Choose one situation this week where you intentionally give up a personal preference or right for the sake of a relationship.

Ideas:

  • Let someone have the last word.
  • Listen before responding.
  • Forgive quickly.
  • Show unexpected kindness.
  • Serve without expecting recognition.
  • Practice patience in traffic.
  • Encourage instead of criticize.
